Tell us about yourself!

I have taught 4th Grade for the past 9 years and have been involved with Hockey Scholars for 6 of those years through our STEM Program. I have been instrumental in bringing Hockey Scholars into our district and even had the opportunity to take my 4th grade class to the Winter Classics because of you. What I most love about teaching is helping my students connect what they are learning to the real world to bring sense and meaning to their education.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program?

Teaching is my second career (packaging manufacturing and sales was my first) and I love the fact that this program offers students the opportunity to apply Science and Math to sports.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Center. Because my nephew was Captain of the Merrimack Hockey Team and I loved watching him play.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Bob Kelly because he has extended his career to work with children and make a difference in their lives.
