St. Louis Blues School Visit

St. Louis Blues players Zach Sanford and Robert Bortuzzo visited Parkway Northeast Middle School on November 18 to celebrate students’ participation in the Future Goals program.

The Blues’ Street Blues team ran ball hockey scrimmages and drills with gym students throughout the day.

In the afternoon, Sanford, Bortuzzo and St. Louis mascot Louie joined students in a scrimmage.

Following the scrimmage, Sanford, Bortuzzo and Louie stopped by a Future Goals classroom to see the Hockey Scholar digital course in action.

Sanford and Bortuzzo capped off their visit with a student-led Q&A.

During the 2018-19 school year, students from 267 St. Louis-area schools accessed the Blues Future Goals course.
