KidSport Edmonton is a local non-profit organization that provides financial assistance through subsidizing sport registration fees for eligible kids. This is done through KidSport’s ‘So ALL Kids Can Play!’ Grant Program. The Hockey Assist Program (HAP) is a fee assistance program that covers a portion, if not all, of the registration fee connected to competition and season-based ice hockey programs.

Every Kid Deserves a Shot is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering youth and nurturing resilience. It equips young individuals with vital supports and tools to help them unlock their full potential, ensuring that hockey’s transformative power and spirit are accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances – underpinning all of our programs is our unwavering commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. Through this initiative, we harness the power of hockey to inspire hope, courage, and focus in the hearts of our youth, offering tangible opportunities related to the sport that they can believe in and strive for in their lives.
