Future Goals™ Most Valuable Teacher
Nomination Form
The Future Goals Most Valuable Teacher Program allows us to celebrate our everyday heroes in the classroom, the teachers, who do so much for children every single day. Parents, students, faculty, and administrators can all show support for their favorite teacher by nominating their teacher for this honor.
Get Involved with the St. Louis Blues®
North City Blues
North City Blues, presented by First Community Credit Union, provides a free after school program and the opportunity to learn how to skate and play ice hockey for students enrolled in KIPP schools. The current group of North City Blues players have just completed eight-weeks of Learn to Skate classes, and have received full sets of brand new hockey equipment to begin Learn to Play style hockey practices! In partnership with the National Blues Museum, the kids participating in the program are going through a STEM programming building guitars and learning to play bucket drums!
Street Blues
The Street Blues program presented by First Community Credit Union is a street hockey program that is offered during the school year and in the summer. This program is designed to introduce elementary and middle school-aged children (grades 1-8) to the game of hockey. This program offers in-person instruction at St. Louis area schools from the Blues Street Team. The Street Team will focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game of hockey to the students, while providing the framework for P.E. teachers to utilize the same curriculum throughout the school year. At the end of the week, students will receive a Hockey at Home pamphlet with a breakdown of next steps to get on the ice and become a hockey player!
Locker Room Trick or Treating
Patients from St. Louis Children’s Hospital went trick-or-treating in the Blues locker room on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Centene Community Ice Center. The annual event gives patients and their families a break from treatment to have some fun collecting candy and autographs from Blues players (Photos by Scott Rovak and Lexie Knight).
