Washington Capitals STEM Day

On February 29th, 100 fifth graders from Hollin Meadows Elementary gathered at the Washington Capitals’ practice facility for an exciting event. The students enjoyed lunch and participated in five stations that connected the Future Goals curriculum to the sport of hockey. It was a fun and educational experience that combined the thrill of sports with the principles of STEM education.
