Tell us about yourself!

This is my 14th year teaching. I am currently and have most taught upper elementary, although I have taught all grade levels at the elementary sector. This year, I am teaching Grade 6 ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies along with Grade 5 Science and Social Studies. I decided to become a teacher, because I like working with the public and helping students discover their full potential. I currently sit on the board of directors for CASA which represents and helps Anglophones in the Gaspesie.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Cedric Paquette – he is more local to my area.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

It gives a students a chance to explore and learn using a topic that is familiar to them and that most have some type of a connection with.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Defense – I don’t like being at the front or leading the charge.
