What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?
The Future Goals program aims to reach STEM concepts through hockey’s exciting and engaging context. The program uses interactive online modules to cover science and math principles with real-life sports examples. Understanding the physics of motion, friction and energy transfer is crucial in analyzing the movements of players, the puck, and the game’s dynamics.
Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?
If you played hockey, what position would you play?
I would be a right-winger because they have opportunities to score goals. They can position themselves for shots and be in prime scoring locations, especially if they are right-handed shooters. In addition, right-wingers must be fast and agile to navigate the ice quickly, make breakaway runs, and create offensive plays. The right winger is typically involved in offensive and defensive players.
