Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I am my happiest when I can help others, and I especially enjoy helping young minds learn and grow. One of my favorite quotes is, “They ask me why I teach, and I reply, ‘Where could I find more splendid company?'”

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

Watching the students reaction when we did a science experiment in which they mixed different Polyurethanes. The chemical reaction made the substance grow high out of the container – to their surprise!

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

I love how the lessons are very high interest for the students!

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

They really enjoy working on the courses. They enjoyed the Speed lesson a lot.

Who is your favorite hockey player?

Hard choice, but I am going with Kevin Hayes. He has skill and tenacity! He is also on my home team – the FLYERS!!
