What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

It’s as the program states “build students’ understanding of foundational math and science concepts, develop scientific and critical thinking skills, and provide exposure to potential math and science-based careers”. Students are really drawn into the learning in a unique way, especially for students who love hockey; while others really enjoy the guided instruction and practice during asynchronous time. The connections between “why are are learning this” & “when will we ever use this”!

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Defense to to help support the team and the goalie!
