Arizona Coyotes October 2022 Teacher of the Month
Tell us about yourself!
I have been teaching for 16 years. I teach all grade level subjects including Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and History. Becoming a teacher was always a dream of mine. It is now a passion that is driven by my personal love of learning and the joy that children feel when they learn a concept they have struggled on. Working with children who are at risk or far below grade level help drive my passion and teach me to be a better teacher. Children who learn differently whether it’s below, gifted, IEP or behavior teach me so much. Working with students after school on things they enjoy like legos is a great way to establish relationships.
