Tell us about yourself!

I have been a teacher of 11th and 12th grade automotive technology for 20 years. I am also a SkillsUSA advisor and past northeast region advisor of the year. I recently won the Harbor Freight Tools For Schools Prize For Teaching Excellence. When I worked as a shop foreman i began teaching other technicians, that sparked my onterest in teaching. What I love most is seeing bright young people finally experience success in school through my automotive program. Last year a former student asked if I’d like to play some pick-up hockey so i still get to play a little. I am a former Boy Scout leader and summer camp director.

Bobby Orr, changed the way the game is played.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

Future Goals Science, science seems to fit well with my automotive program.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

I do play and play defense, I enjoy the mental aspect of it.
