Tell us about yourself!

Ashley has been teacher at UNIV for 6 years. She has taught 5th grade, intensive reading, and how now moved into a Student Service Coordinator and works with Social Emotional learning. On top of that, she has also overseen our Leader in Me Program at our school, Cross Country, Safety Patrol, Title I and National Elementary Honor Society. She is the first to step up and support the school with community connections and lend a helping hand.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

It gives the kids the chance to learn about the sport of hockey and how it connects back to STEM. We see lots of connections in the game of hockey from the players on the ice controlling their speed, the speed of the puck, and the management of time by the teams.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?
