Tell us about yourself!

I currently teach 7th grade science and STEM. This is my 8th year of teaching. I decided to become a teacher because I love learning and I enjoy working with children. What I love most about teaching is that I get to be in a learning environment. I love inspiring my students to believe in themselves and their ability to learn.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

My favorite part of the program is how the students can relate what they are learning to real life. STEM is seen in the game of hockey through the design of the equipment and through the prepping of the surface ice.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Goalie, because I get to stay in one place.
