Please write a short bio about yourself and your teaching career!

I am a business teacher at Azalea Middle School in St Petersburg Florida. I have been teaching for 21 years and love every second of it. I really enjoy being around people and especially young scholars eager to learn. It’s an amazing feeling to see students’ progress in the classroom. I chose this career to help people and it has truly become a fulfilling life path.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Brayden Point. He once gave my 5 year old son a puck in pre game warmups when we attended a game last year 🙂

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

The platform is very unique in that it is so interactive. The students really gain a lot from the hands-on activities. STEM is very apparent throughout every lesson and the online educational games are very fun for them to figure out.
