Tell us about yourself!

I teach the Careers, Finance and Technology Freshman Course that all Freshman take. I teach Business Marketing to primarily Juniors and Seniors and I have been the Advisor for the last 10 years for Future Business Leaders of America’s Academic Club at Cypress High School. I have 50 members this year. We have made it to FBLA Nationals 7 years in a row. We compete in over 75 Business and Technology Career Pathway Events. We are the Business and Technology Team for Cypress High School. I have three children and a wonderful life who also teaches in the Anaheim Union High School District for over 20 years. She teaches English and Drama. She also has a Performing Arts Academy where her students work with Business Professionals in the industry. Our youngest son is a Shortstop and Pitcher at Servite High School in Anaheim. We love our community.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Wayne Gretzky. He’s the GOAT.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

Angles, speed/velocity, friction, direction. Need I say more?

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

I would play Center because I want to lead the way.
