Tell us about yourself!

This is my 22nd year as a Science Teacher. While I started my career at the high school level, I currently teach middle school Science. I chose teaching as my career because I love inspiring others to be there best as they begin to understand the world around them. My favorite part of teaching is witnessing the “ah ha” moments when students understand a science concept in a new way. I love that your organization has made such a thorough program to learn physics.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

My favorite NHL player Jack Hughes because he performs well on a regular basis.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

My favorite part of the Future Goals program is that my students are engaged to meet the goal of earning all of the trophies while being able to apply physics concepts in interactive games.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

I would play goalie because I was a goalie when I played soccer.
