G.O.A.L.

The Get Out And Learn (G.O.A.L.) program introduces hockey to kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to try the sport by visiting schools, community centers, and other safe, structured places for play. To make the game more accessible, the Blackhawks provide a floor hockey equipment donation, including street hockey sticks, balls, and two nets – alongside instructional videos with basic drills and curriculum to use as a guide when rolling out the program. Applications for G.O.A.L. are now open to administrators and teachers.

Little Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks are excited to announce another year of the Little Blackhawks Learn to Play program! Learning to play hockey is more than just learning a game. More than skating, passing and stick-handling, hockey is about responsibility, respect and teamwork. Learn to Play initiative was developed jointly by the National Hockey League and the NHL Players’ Association to offer more families a chance to experience everything that makes youth hockey so rewarding.
