Rookies

The Dallas Stars Rookies programs, presented by Whataburger, are free 5-week programs for boys and girls ages 4-14 who are interested in playing the game of hockey for the first time. Each Saturday during the program, kids are provided with all equipment necessary for a fun and safe experience. Trained coaches will help your child begin their path toward a cool and exciting new activity. Additionally, we offer Adult Rookies for players ages 18+.

Stars Stick With Reading

The Dallas Stars Stick with Reading program encourages elementary students to foster a love for reading outside the classroom. Classes with the highest average minutes read each month may be eligible for prizes. Teachers can register their classes throughout the school year to participate in this free, incentive-based program.
