Tell us about yourself!

I have taught multiple subjects and grade levels at DMS including ELA, Social Studies, Read 180, ASB, and AVID. In 2011, I took over the AVID program and built it from the ground up, finally becoming a National Demonstration School and Site of Distinction in 2017. Throughout my time in the Hemet Unified School District, I am humbled to have been awarded Educator of the Year at Dartmouth Middle School in 2007, 2021 and a finalist for the California League of Middle Schools award in 2013.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

I am enjoying watching my students work together with their math skills.
