Tell us about yourself!

Having been an educator for 25 years, I feel being a part of EverFi educational online resources is a blessing. I have 164 students and having EverFi resources provides social emotional programming and science. We are trying to instill content and life skills in my classroom. Being advocate for a healthy mind , spirit and body imperative in today’s society.  I am dedicated to students learning about our galaxy and planning to be stellar in all we do. Consider recognizing me and my  out of this world set of 164 scholars!

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

I feel that having outside resources provide students with new skill and high expectations. I think hockey a sport with amazing mathematical concepts such as angles and other geometrical ideals. Of course, in science we see the importance of physical fitness, pushes & pulls, measurements and comparing as well as contrasting strategies.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

I just think the Red Wings are our home town hero’s! At a previous school, we were visited my some staffers that taught students that are unfamiliar with the sport and they came prepared to teach. Any team of heroes that do that are a blessing to our inner city schools. Red Wings fans forever because they they take the time to share with our kids!

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Goalie! I think I’m big enough and strong. Having the ability to save my team and stop another from scoring is exciting!
