Why did you decide to become a teacher?

My friends found that I had natural tendency to instruct and teach. 15 years ago I took the leap and never turned back. I love it !

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

Participating in a 8th Grade students Cancer Drive where the fundraising involved participants (including me) who volunteered to have our heads shaved to the bare minimum and televised to the entire school !

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

Future Goals: Math. I like “Covering the Ice”. Its Mathematical and is hard, but reachable to students who are beginning to understand early Mathematical concepts.

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

They realized that Math is reachable and can be fun too! They did not realize how many shapes can be inside a hockey rink.
