Tell us about yourself!

I have been teaching for 20 years and I currently teach grade 5. I love teaching this age group because this is when they start to show their awesome sense of humour. I decided to become a teacher because I have a love of learning and enjoy working with children. In my spare time, I enjoy running and hiking.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele because they are both amazing goal scorers and great team leaders.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

My favourite part of the Future Goals Program is when I hear my students asking if they can work on it from home because they want more. I love the real life situations used to solve math and science problems.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

If I played hockey I believe I would be a goal scorer because I am kind of competitive that way!
