Tell us about yourself!

My name is Jael Zaragoza and I have been a dual educator for the past 8 years at SBCUSD. I decided to become a dual language teacher because I feel language is important for students to thrive and communicate. I also love teaching my class about different cultures and giving them opportunities to become aware of the community that they are a part of but also communities around the world.  I love teaching in both English and Spanish. I have steadily improved in implementing technology with different learning processes in order to keep students engaged and am continuously learning with every class to improve my abilities to keep learning fun.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

My favorite part is that it is rigorous and a great program for my students that need a challenge. It is easy for my accelerated students to follow and something they can use to practice their skills in a different way than the rest of the class.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

I would play defense because I like the idea of blocking and defending my team.
