Buffalo Sabres December 2021 Teacher of the Month
Tell us about yourself!
My name is Ben Allio and I’ve been teaching for over 31 years. I presently teach fifth grade science and have also taught grades 1, 4 and 6. Each grade has its own challenges and rewards. I got into teaching because of the rewards of educating children. Watching their expressions show excitement and surprise as they finally understand a concept and embracing their enthusiasm. I have participated in various community activities ranging from school dances and festivities to sports and toy drives. It is truly an enlightening career.
