Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I became a teacher after a life change. I used to be in advertising and public relations. I started by subbing in our district while trying to figure out what I needed to do and I never looked back! I find teaching the most rewarding thing I can do…Next to being a Wish Granter with Make-A-Wish.

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

I love the connections I make with each and every student. When students put in practice what we have taught them.

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

I love that students can have real world application of the lessons we are teaching them and that they see there IS a reason!!

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

My students love using the Future Goals program… actually ALL the Everfi courses!

Who is your favorite player?

My favorite NHL player is a throwback! My youngest son is a goalie and was nicknamed the Nolanator after his favorite player, Dominik Hasik
