Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I coached for years prior to teaching and I listened to my wife who said I was good with kids and had missed my calling.

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

After a particularly difficult year this past school year I had a parent tell me they would miss me, how much their son liked me (EBD student) and that she hoped I would consider an admin job in the future.

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

I like that the lessons integrate other core subjects while also giving them real life scenarios.

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

Some of it was a little difficult for them, but I believe they enjoyed it.
