Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Dylan Larkin!! He’s a fellow Wolverine and we have followed him since he was at UM 🙂 He’s the favorite of our whole family!

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

I love how engaging the Future Goals program is with my students. They are so excited to long on and continue their journey to achieve the Stanley Cup. I also love how it has brough some of my more shy students out of their shell! (A few play hockey and were able to share their experiences) STEM can be found in all areas of hockey, from the perfect temperature of the ice to the angles used when shooting and using the boards to bounce a puck off of, it is an amazing way to hook kids into STEM thinking while also making it super fun!

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

I would play Left Wing because that is the position my son plays!
