Tell us about yourself!

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I began working in the Public School system in 2008. I currently teach Computer Science and Technology in an urban elementary school that also has an autistic population of students. There is nothing more fulfilling than teaching my students to be successful in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

I love everything about the Future Goals program! I think it is so important for students to learn things such as STEM to use in the real world. Using the game of hockey in STEM has been very successful in my classroom and I see this program growing and becoming even more successful in the future.

Who is your favorite NHL® player and why?

Vitek Vanecek is my favorite NHL player because he is the goalie for the New Jersey Devils and is now my hometown team’s number one goaltender.

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

If I played hockey I would want to be the goalie because I have always been on the defense when playing sports.
