Tell us about yourself!

I really liked science in school but I most enjoyed helping my friends when they didn’t understand. I enjoyed the feelings that I got from helping people learn a subject that I enjoyed. This is how I became a physics teacher after getting my BS in Physics. Another passion of mine is Fishing and I am in several fishing and sportsman clubs. I even started a Fishing Club at my school and teach students how to fish and provide tournament fishing opportunities for them outside of the classroom.

What is your favorite part of the Future Goals™program? How do you see STEM in the game of hockey?

Hockey is my favorite sport so relating STEM concepts using Hockey has really energized my teaching

If you played hockey, what position would you play and why?

Defense, I liked moving people off the puck
