Why did you decide to become a teacher?

A love of learning and a passion for helping others.

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

After missing some time due to shoulder surgery upon my return the whole school chanted my name at an assembly. 

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

I love the real world connection and the student engagement. I use Future Goals to supplement my math program.  

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

They love it! Especially my hockey player students.

Who is your favorite player?

Auston Matthews because he’s been under the microscope since he was a junior player and lived up to all expectations. Especially growing up in Arizona which is not a traditional hockey town.
