Why did you decide to become a teacher?

Provide students a healthy and positive role model and to help make a difference in students

What has been your most memorable moment as a teacher?

Having students that I have taught come back to me years later and thanking me for the guidance and empowerment I provided them as it had changed their lives in a positive manner.

What is your favorite part of Future Goals and how are you using it in your classroom?

The connections made between Math and Science (STEM) and how it connects to hockey as so many students can relate to. I am using it as a supplementary activity to my already existing Math/Science curriculum but now have added a tech component which I love.

What was your student’s reaction to the program?

They love it and as many have already commented, it doesn’t even feel like “school” as they are engaged while working with online tutorials
